What to expect ?

The trail is equally a delight for natural experiences. On the third day of our trekking, we leave our luggage in hotel at Ghorepani for Poon Hill excursion before dawn to catch the spectacular sun rise. Poon Hill is one of the best viewpoints in this trek for a sun-rise view and mountain vista. Mount Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Range and Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) to the northern part and the Butterfly Peaks in the far western part are all visible from atop Poon Hill.


 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport - (1360m.) 

On your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative from the airport will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

If you wish to comprehend Nepal’s historical and cultural values, sightseeing in Kathmandu valley is crucial. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a popular destination for tourists. This city offers a marvelous combination of mix religion of Hinduism, Buddhism and some imported culture. Kathmandu carries the cultural and religious legacy that can be found at temples, monuments, and artifacts. Patan and Bhaktapur are neighbor cities which reflects a similar legacy. In the half-day tour, you will be guided to Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. Pashupatinath is a Hindu Shrine where people worship Lord Shiva whereas Boudhanath is the biggest stupa of Nepal. And for the rest of the day, we will prepare for the trek. You can buy your missing equipment for your trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi (800 M/2624ft), 7- 8 hours, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

Our journey begins with a seven to eight hours drive from Kathmandu to Khudi on a serpentine road on the rural area of Nepal following Trishuli watercourse. On the manner, we will witness different terraced farms and delightful huts. Once we reach the juncture at Mugling, we have a tendency to move towards Pokhara. From Dumre, we will leave the previous path and head north to Besisahar. Further half an hour's drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi, the preliminary spot of our trek. Day 04: Trek from Khudi to Sirung (2200 M/7217ft), 6-7 hours, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D)

Day 07: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2710 M/8891ft), 5-6 hours (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2675m) takes concerning 5 -6 hours. As we chop through a slender field from the village, the Dudh Khola originates from the south face of Manaslu. As we continue to climb through the forests of pine and oak, we will meet up with Danaque (2210m.). Day 14: Trek from Muktinath to Marpha (2670 M/8759ft), 6-7 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will enjoy pleasant morning's hike down the Kali Gandaki river bottom, searching for Saligrams before reaching Jomsom, the executive center for the region. The Kali Gandaki’s natural depression gets unbelievably windy within the early afternoon; therefore it is necessary to arrive before noonday. Few hours hike on a similar river underneath, the routed village of made-up streets, small outlets, horses and donkeys, a recently restored gompa and caves on top of the village takes us to Marpha. Day 15: Trek from Marpha to Ghasa (2013 M/6604ft), 5-6 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we tend to continue downhill the Kali Gandaki Gorge to Tukuche, an enthralling village with an oversized gompa. Following Kali Gandaki, we tend to head towards Larjung. After the breakfast, we walk through some more hills, which is hotter and quite strenuous as we branch off after One hour hike from Tatopani takes us to Ghorepani.

Day 18: Early morning hike up to Poon Hill (3210 M/10531ft) back Ghorepani (2860 M/9383ft) and trek to Tadapani (2630 M/8628ft), 6-7 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

 We will hike to PoonHill early morning for the Mountain View of Himalaya range up to 8000m. Then we will walk back to Ghorepani for breakfast and then start trekking to Tadapani for about 6-7 hrs.

Day 19: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170 M/7119ft), 6-7 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will trek down an easy trail to Kimrung Khola for lunch and then ascend again to Chhomrong village which lies at the base of Himchuli at the elevation of 6,441m. Chhomrong offers a close view of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre.

Day 20: Trek from Chhomrong to Himalayan Hotel (2929 M/9609ft), 5-6 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will head to Kuldi Ghar for about 3 hrs and then walk down to the bank of Modi river viewing bamboo forest at the base of the gorge. Passing by the grazing land of Tomo and Panchen we will trek up to Himalayan Hotel (lodge).

Day 21: Trek from Himalayan Hotel to Macchepucchre Base Camp 4130 M/13549) via Annapurna Base Camp (4130 M/13549),  

After the breakfast, moving ahead we will reach Deurali and further walk on the west bank of the river. It takes 5-6hrs before we reach the open valley at the side of Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Then we continue trekking up to Annapurna base camp.

Day 22: Exploring day around Annapurna Base Camp, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

This day, we shall explore the beauty of the Annapurna Base Camp. This is generally a rest day. However, the idyllic, charismatic mountain views can be seen. Excursion of one of the biggest glaciers is just another adventure.

Day 23: Trek back from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310 M/7578ft), 6-7 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will hike down and follow the same way to a pleasant camp spot at Bamboo.

Day 24: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Dada/Hot Spring (1780 M/5839ft), 5-6 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D)

After breakfast, we will walk up to Chhomrong and then further way down to Himal pani / Jhinu Dada through meadows hills. We will enjoy Natural hot spring during the day.

Day 25: Trek from Jhinu Dada to Pothana (1890 M/6200ft), 6-7 hrs, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will descend to Modi river and ascend to Landrung, a beautiful Gurung community village and then have lunch at Tolkha. After an easy ascent up to Deurali we will crash at Pothana.

Day 26: Trek from Pothana to Phedi (1130 M/3707ft), 3-4 hrs and drive back to Pokhara (827M/2713ft), 1 hrs,

After breakfast, we will trek an easy trail down to Phedi, a beautiful village located on the lap of Annapurna range and drive to Pokhara one hour. 

Overnight in Pokhara.


Day 27: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1350 M4429ft), 7-8 hrs or 25 minutes flight back to Kathmandu is also possible.

After breakfast, we will head for the Kathmandu memorizing the good memories in this trip.
